- Black felt -if covering container. You will need enough for the bottom and top circle and a rectangle felt piece to cover the sides of the container.
- Black paint or spray paint – if painting container
- Container – See Options Below:
- Paper Mache Boxes – We got ours from Hobby Lobby Any Size Tin Can or old popcorn tin type container will work too
- Chipboard/cardboard – I used the bottom of a scrapbook pad of paper 12×12 but you can also use cardboard, cereal box if large enough etc.
- Glitter Card stock from Michaels
- Floral wire – enough wire for 15 flower petals – 15 pieces that are around 3″ long
- Ribbon – 2 to 3 yards to make bow and brim around base of hat
- Mini glue gun
- Greenery picks to fill in – check Hobby Lobby or Michaels
- Berries for center of flower – check Hobby Lobby or Michaels
